The organic farm Schär is located at the entrance of Brittnau surrounded by beautiful hazelnut trees. Our family business is extremely diverse. In addition to farming, we have over 2000 organic laying hens, which lay fresh eggs daily for our farm shop.
The first organic hazelnut plant in Switzerland ensures a rich harvest of Wiggertaler hazelnuts every autumn. Every spring our customers can enjoy fine green asparagus and various fresh vegetables. Almost all year round we can offer lamb meat from our Engadine sheep. Our farm is complemented by a horse boarding facility with a large open-air stable.
